Growing up as a shy twin in suburban Michigan, I never imagined that a horse would change the course of my life. At eight years old, terrified yet curious, I climbed into the saddle for the first time. What began as fear became a lifelong passion. Horses taught me discipline, empathy, and confidence. These are lessons that carried me from a quiet child to a stage performer and national-caliber trainer.

Horses never lie. They read your heart, respond to your energy, and forgive your mistakes if you treat them with respect. Their intuition is unmatched; they sense emotion long before a word is spoken. In difficult times, their silent companionship offers a comfort few humans can rival.

Living among horse lovers in North Texas feels like coming home. It’s a community bound by kindness and connection where every sunrise over the pasture reminds us that sometimes, the best therapy has four legs and a steady gaze.
