Moto & Latte Roaster
How We’re Brewing Coffee, Culture, and Community in Pilot Point
By: Dominique Manning
I'm Dominique Manning, and along with my wife Yulia, we started Moto & Latte Roaster with one big dream—to bring together the worlds of espresso and motorcycle culture under one roof.
In 2023, our careers fell apart almost overnight. It was one of those moments where you either play it safe or take a leap of faith. We chose the leap. We packed up our lives in California, kept the bike, and hit the road with no plan except this: build a place where riders, roasters, and rebels could connect over something we all love—great coffee.
That journey led us to Pilot Point, Texas.

Honestly, I’d never heard of it before we rolled in, and I know a lot of our customers could say the same. But when we found an old 1930s gas station sitting empty, we saw potential. By March 2025, we had turned it into Moto & Latte, a space that feels alive the moment you walk in—vintage pumps out front, the smell of fresh-roasted coffee in the air, and the sound of bikes pulling up out back.
From day one, my mission has been to cultivate the most amazing biker community—one that reaches far beyond this small town. And it’s working. Every weekend, I see riders from Dallas, Fort Worth, Forney, Oklahoma, and even further rolling in. A lot of them tell me they’d never even heard of Pilot Point before
Now they come back, and they bring friends.
This place has become more than just a coffee stop—it’s a meeting point, a pit stop, and in some ways, a starting line. I’ve watched strangers meet here and head out on rides together. I’ve seen our events pack the lot with bikes, classic cars, and locals curious about what’s going on. There’s nothing better than serving someone their first latte here and seeing them linger for the community as much as the coffee.

And we’re just getting started. I plan to grow our roasting operation, ship our beans nationwide, partner with more riders and builders, and host bigger events that showcase the craft, culture, and camaraderie that brought us here in the first place.
Moto & Latte isn’t just my coffee shop—it’s a piece of my journey. And if you’ve found your way here, welcome. This is just the beginning.
