Julie, a Pilot Point resident, horsewoman, and owner of Abingdon Park & Pony Farm, writes with the same grounded grace she lives with. Raised as an Army brat and now deeply rooted in Texas soil, she understands both movement and the longing for home—something that echoes throughout her storytelling. Inspired by her mother, a lifelong reader and librarian, and her brother, also an author, Julie brings a deeply personal and heartfelt voice to this work.

This book is especially for the caregivers. The ones who show up every day, often unseen, carrying both the weight and the beauty of loving someone through difficult seasons. Julie doesn’t offer quick answers—she offers companionship. A reminder that you are not alone.
